Mystery Sampler
Good Morning Stitchers!
If this is your first time visiting to receive the Mystery Sampler stitches, the post below will have your first 2 rows and stitches listed. If you have previously attended a sit and sew and this is the first time you haven’t “drawn” a stitch, work these two rows wherever they fit best in your sampler.
Here are your next sampler stitches: Making Hearts [this motif requires 2 rows to complete so begin accordingly…I have chosen rows 3 and 4].
Row 3: Beginning with a down cable, work a row of half-space, two-step trellis (you should begin on the far left and work your stitches across, each step will cover a quarter space).
Row 4: Beginning with an up cable directly under the first down cable of the previous row, work a 5-step trellis down to row 4 (each step should cover 1/4 space), work 1 down cable, then work a 5-step trellis up to row 3, work 1 up cable directly under the previous row’s down cable. You should be able to see your first “heart”.
